We offer different levels of competition on different days of the week to work with your schedule.

Volleyball Skill Levels Defined
For Fun League – Recreational Player
Designed for beginners and players focused on enjoyment, social interaction, and learning the game.
Beginner-level player with limited experience
Understands basic rules of volleyball
Learning fundamental skills (bump, set, spike) but not yet consistent
Returning the ball over the net is the primary goal
May not consistently execute all three touches
Still developing awareness of rules (lifts, doubles, etc.)
Limited control over passing direction
Footwork and positioning are still developing
Focus is on participation, fun, and improvement
Minors League – Intermediate Player
For players with developing skills who understand gameplay and are working toward consistency and control.
Approximately 7/10 passes reach the intended target
Understands common rules and violations
Demonstrates proper form in passing, setting, and hitting
Familiar with rotations and defensive positioning
Typically uses all three touches before returning the ball
Actively works to control the ball during play
Shows developing footwork and approach mechanics
Anticipates ball movement and reacts accordingly
Solid understanding of gameplay and strategy
Skill levels may vary within this division
Recommendation:
Minors players should register for the Minors League. Advanced Minors players may be capable of competing at the Majors level.
Majors League – Advanced/Power Player
For experienced and competitive players with strong skills, consistency, and strategic understanding.
Approximately 9/10 passes reach the intended target
Highly consistent in all volleyball fundamentals
Executes advanced plays (combinations, slides, tandems, crosses)
Strong understanding of offensive systems (e.g., 5-1, 6-2)
Applies defensive strategies effectively in live play
Demonstrates strong court awareness and anticipation
Reads opponents and adjusts gameplay accordingly
Consistent execution under competitive conditions
Advanced knowledge of rules, positioning, and game flow
Recommendation:
Majors players should register for the Majors League. Teams with only a few Majors players may compete in Minors depending on overall roster skill level.
